I like this video put together by the Nike SB team documenting the "autopsy" of the Nike Dunk Pro SB. They're foreshadowing a new Nike SB Dunk that will arrive in 2011. The Nike Dunk Pro SB is not very much changed from the original Nike Dunk basketball shoe that debuted in 1985. Nike added Nike Zoom Air in the heel, a fat tongue and extra padding in some areas for the SB version. It's not a skate shoe built from the ground up like P-Rod signature shoes for example.
Based on the video, it looks like we can expect the following from the Nike SB Dunk in 2011: a new tread pattern for better grip, moved seams for better comfort, Phylon in the midsole to provide impact protection while maintaining flexibility, and a cored outsole to reduce weight.
